Glass Bottles & Jars
All colors of glass bottles and jars. Remove lids, rinse food containers. No lightbulbs or window glass.
 
Mixed Paper & Newsprint
Place newspaper flat on the bottom of the bin.
Place mixed paper into a paper bag on top of the newspaper.
If windy, place something on top of the papers to prevent blowing litter.
Mixed paper is junk mail, office paper, magazines and clean paper food boxes.
No paper that is waxed or plastic coated (refrigerator and freezer cartons), no paper plates, napkins or towels.
 
Tin Cans & Aluminum Cans
Tin Cans - Remove labels, rinse and flatten
Aluminum cans - Flatten, no aluminum foil or food pans
 
Plastic Milk Jugs & Plastic Soda Bottles
Rinse, throw away lids, flatten - be sure that the bottles are only semi-transparent HDPE mild jugs, water bottles or juice ontainers. Nor bright white or colored bottles. The second type of plastic collected is green or clear PET soda bottles.
 
Cardboard
Flatten and tie in small bundles, place next to your recycle bins, No waxed cardboard.
 
Lead/Acid Vehicle Batteries
Only batteries that are not cracked, broken or leanking, set next to your recycling bins.
